They're adorable as Legos and well, the boys just LOVE them! This is a super easy set to assemble, but the playtime goes on for hours on end. If you're truly desiring to be a rock star, get all 3 sets and have a real Hoth battle. This set is quite durable and stands up very well to all the neighborhood boys' battles on Hoth. This set is essentially a collection of four minifigures - an AT-AT Driver, two Snowtroopers, and an Imperial Officer - with a few accessories. Complexity: This was a pretty easy set to build. My son assembled the minifigures, and I put together the little battle platform and the speeder bike. Now, I've seen the Empire Strikes Back a LOT of times, and have never seen a speeder bike in that film. Why is it suddenly showing up in Hoth-themed playsets (both Lego and Kenner so far)? Playability: The sky's the limit. Recreate scenes from the movie, or make up your own stories. My son does this, but so far his stories all involve the AT-AT Driver and Snowtroopers trading helmets...and then shooting each other. My son absolutely loves these figures, and usually has at least one with him at all times. He's saving his money again, so maybe the LEGO Star Wars Rebel Trooper Battle Pack (8083) or LEGO Star Wars Echo Base (7749) playsets will be next.
